Hi, I’m Ellen.
I grew up in a small town in Ohio, eventually going off to pursue business at Miami University, and I subsequently made the move to New York City to immerse myself in the corporate world.
However, after years in the corporate world, I could no longer see the career I had dreamt of. It dawned on me that what I truly craved was the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working with and helping others, particularly in an area that held personal significance. Retrospectively, I realized that my own journey and challenges with food and body started quite young and ultimately resulted in my own struggle with an eating disorder. Through many efforts and realizations over the years, it became clear that I was in a unique position to both relate and help others reach a place of freedom around their food, body, and health… especially within societies challenging expectations.
Food has the potential to bring immense joy, comfort, and a sense of community. Yet for many, it can also evoke feelings of shame, guilt, and isolation. My mission is to build a community and a world where health is used to enhance our well-being rather than control and conform us into a narrowed existence.
My ultimate goal is to contribute, even in the smallest way, to your journey toward self-love and wellness. I want you to know that your thoughts and feelings are valid, and most importantly, that you are not alone on this path of self-discovery and empowerment.
My Approach
My approach is about helping you step out of the exhausting cycle of dieting, food guilt, and body obsession - and finally feel steady around food and confident in yourself.
I won’t pretend we live in a world that doesn’t influence the way you eat and feel in your body. Diet culture, wellness trends, comparison, social media, and “health rules” are loud - and they impact far more than what’s on your plate. Together, we’ll uncover the beliefs you’ve been carrying (often for years), quiet the constant mental noise, and rebuild trust with your body.
This work isn’t about chasing perfection or trying harder. It’s about learning how to nourish yourself consistently, make choices from self-respect instead of shame, and create habits that actually last. Because true health isn’t just physical - it’s also your energy, confidence, mindset, relationships, and the way you show up in your life.
If you’re ready for a relationship with food that feels calmer, more natural, and sustainable - I’d love to support you.
